  • Dr. Deborah Hurst

  • Simran Kahlon

  • Karim Khamisa

    DIRECTOR

As part of the generation that returns home after school, Karim became passionate about supporting the seniors in our community after experiencing the ups and downs of aging parents - one of which became a caregiver for the other. The importance of day programming to promote physical ability and prevent social isolation became evident for Karim, leading to him joining the Eldercare Edmonton Board. Karim brings with him experience working with the board of directors of a large healthcare organization and supporting seniors is the use of technology. Professionally, Karim works to attract investment into a nearby municipality. He tries to be an avid reader, window shopper (supporting local, of course) and foodie.
